Certain items will require rare materials for crafting, and one of the items you need to get is animal fiber. You should have a hunting knife by now to kill small animals like boars and take their hide to the tanning station. In case you don’t have the tanning station or the hunting knife, just gather the following materials to craft them
Makeshift Hunting Knife
- 3x Rocks
- 3x Sticks
- 6x Plant Fibre
Simple Tanning Station
- Obtain blueprint from Essence Trader
- 6x Sticks
- 10x Plant Fibre
Now that you have the above equipment, go out and start hunting small animals. Using the hunting knife, you can quickly take down a bunch of them. Next, skin them for hide, bones, and raw meat. Make your way to the tanning station and select the recipe for crafting animal fiber. This requires 2x Raw Meat, which you should have by now. Place them in the item slot and start crafting animal fiber
