Sunstones can be found while completing Ruin dungeons. There are several ruin types in the game, such as the Mysterious Ruins or Holy Ruins. Each ruin dungeon offers different enemy battles. Sometimes you might encounter mechanical or humanoid enemies, while other times you might encounter the ruins filled with beast enemies. After defeating them and clearing the ruins of enemies, you can unlock the chest or relic within the ruin to get rare rewards. One of the guaranteed rewards you can get is the Sunstone

To use the Sunstone, all you have to do is equip it in your shortcut bar or select it from your inventory and press E to use it. Sometimes you might get a message that there is Not Enough Energy. but if you haven’t used this particular Sunstone before, there is bound to be energy within it. Just use it the same way you would equip and use healing items to recharge your mask, regardless of the Not Enough Energy message. Sunstones cannot be charged but can be stacked. So once you have used up a Sunstone, you have to find another one to charge your mask
