Armor Plating Blueprint Location Sons of the Forest 1.0
To get Ancient Armor, the first thing you gotta do is retrieve the blueprint for the Armor Plating workbench. For this, you need to unlock and explore the Luxury Bunker, aka, the Final Bunker. In case you haven’t unlocked the Luxury Bunker yet, you need to head over to the Surveillance Room within the Residential Bunker first. To find the Residential Bunker, make your way to the below location, on the eastern side of the map.
Once you enter the Residential Bunker, you need to explore each room till you come across a room filled with computers called the Surveillance Room. There are tons of loot within the bunker, so it is worth taking your time searching all the rooms. Once you reach the Surveillance Room, one of the computer screens has a keypad that you can unlock. This will open up the entrance to the luxury bunker. You can exit the residential bunker by exiting the Surveillance Room and taking the stairs all the way down, then using the double doors at the end of the corridor to leave.
Now, enter the luxury bunker located above and keep exploring till you come across Timmy outside a locked golden door. Right beside the door is a corpse holding the Armor Plating blueprint.
How to craft Armor Plating workbench and get Ancient Armor in Sons of the Forest 1.0
To start, you will need the following materials to craft the Armor Plating workbench
- 4x Wire
- 1x Skull
- 4x Golf Cart Batteries
- 33x Bones
- 25x Rocks
After building the workbench, you would also need the Golden Armor and Solafite Ore. You should have the Golden Armor set by now, but if not we have a guide on getting Golden Armor as well as farming Solafite in Sons of the Forest
To get Ancient Armor, place the Golden Armor within the workbench and also place Solafite within it. Activate the mechanic, then defend it against the hoard of mutants that will suddenly appear. Once the armor crafting is done, you can equip it and unlock the strange door where Timmy was stuck at.
