To find Aluminum Rods, make your way west from The Meadows. You will soon reach Pine Heights, where you can find an abundance of resources once you restore it. You need to get rid of all the Noxious Slime by using your Vacuum Harvester. You can use the water from the nearby pools and suck it in, then switch to the Irrigation Hose. Use the water from the hose to clear out all the slime on the ground. You might also encounter Noxious weeds that need to be cut down using your mech’s tools. Keep an eye on the progress bar at the top corner to see how you are doing. In case your progress bar seems to be stalled, then you need to check the area thoroughly for any leftover slime or weed
Once Pine Heights is restored, make your way further west to the rocky terrains. Check the rocks to find shiny metallic objects sticking out from it. Collect the Aluminum Rods using the mech’s Spike Saw tool. Take them back to your base to start crafting the Upgrade Depot and Merchant Landing, amongst other things
