To get a house, you first need to complete the questline Of Rats and Raiders. This is an early game quest, where you have to locate and defeat Darak. You can find this warlord when you reach the western section of the Orban Glades for the first time, and then a second time within the sewers. You will also have to free the raiders to complete the entire questline. Once that is done, open up your map and you will spot some new icons appear on top of certain houses. If you don’t see any new icon appear, just walk up an existing house till a message appears on top that you can purchase it. Each property offers varying prices, depending on the locality and property size. If you have the required money to spare, then you can simply click on the respective button to buy your first home
Once you own a home, you can decorate it with furniture and other essential items like storage chests and workbenches. You can return home anytime during the game if you wish to store items or take a break.
