Looking to free all three FL4K pets in Borderlands 4? During The Chase mission, you’ll need to follow Mr. Chew through The Upper Crust, FL4K’s Sanctum, and the Vinechoked Canopy. The pets are locked inside crates along the way, so this guide covers each location and explains how to free all three without missing any.
Freeing the Three FL4k Pets
During The Chase mission, your objective consists of following Mr. Chew and free the FL4k pets. In case you are missing any pet, you need to keep an eye on your quest tracker or the objectives that appear on the left side of the screen.
That way, each time you release a pet, it will be ticked off. You can then backtrack to the locations mentioned below and release any pet that you haven’t encountered yet. If you keep following Mr. Chew without losing sight of him, he will usually lead you towards all the crates where the pets are trapped in.
Pet Location #1
Start by going to the marked location in The Upper Crust area and once you’re there, you’ll find a torn down building filled with debris.
Go inside the building and start following Mr. Chew by ascending the stairs on the left. You’ll find plenty of enemies in the area so be prepared to tackle them. Take the path on the left to reach another set of stairs, and you’ll find a crate with one of the FL4k pets inside.
Pet Location #2
Take right from there and you’ll find a zipline cable that’ll take you up and lead you to FL4K’s Sanctum. Go towards the swimming pool and look towards the right to find yet another crate. You’ll need to break it using your gun to free the second pet.
Pet Location #3
Keep following Mr. Chew to reach a tree and go right from there to reach the Vinechoked Canopy. Defeat the enemies in the area first and then break free the third FL4K pet by breaking open the crate you’ll find there.
