These Legendary materials, Military Composites and Experimental Compounds, play an important role in upgrading your base in MW4 DMZ. There are several strategies you can use to obtain them, but one of the most efficient ways to earn these materials is to defeat Colossus. It might be a tough task to beat this enemy, especially if you are alone, but there are some tips on how to do it. Here’s how to farm Military Composites and Experimental Compounds in MW4 DMZ and defeat the Colossus easily.
How to Farm Military Composites and Experimental Compounds
If you need more Military Composites or Experimental Compounds in DMZ, start Operation Iron Citadel to fight the Colossus and complete the encounter, collect your loot, and restart.
Each run should take around 10 minutes to reach the boss, depending on how quickly you complete the objectives. While it takes some time to repeat the mission, this is a reliable way to farm these materials without having to search the entire map for another Colossus.
It’s best to attempt this method once you have a well-equipped Operator and enough Thermites. With the right equipment, you can defeat the Colossus fairly easily and keep farming the Legendary materials you need for your 3D Printer upgrades.
How to Defeat the Colossus

If you don’t have any Shock Sticks or Thermites, you can still defeat the Colossus by finding a good position above him. This is another reliable method for solo players. Look for a rooftop or elevated position where you can see the Colossus’s head without exposing too much of your body. A Sniper Rifle or Marksman Rifle works best here, but you can also use an Assault Rifle or LMG.

Once you’re in position, aim for his head and keep shooting. The trick is to find an angle where you can hit him, but he struggles to shoot back. Ideally, only the upper part of his head should be visible from your position.
If he starts landing shots on you, move slightly to the side and find a better angle. Once you have a safe position, keep firing until he goes down. This method might take a little longer, but you won’t need any special equipment or teammates. Once the Colossus is down, check all collected loot to farm Military Composites and Experimental Compounds in DMZ.
