On your exciting journey, you’ll probably stumble upon your very first Fontemer Seagrass in Genshin Impact 4.0, an underwater plant, while undertaking the side quest Aqueous Tidemarks. You’re probably wondering how to get this quest? Don’t worry, here’s the trick! Just chat with the NPC that’s hanging out close to the Statue of the Seven in Fontaine Court.
If you come across Fontemer Seagrass, you’ll spot them easily. They have this unique growth pattern with at least a couple of strands pointing upwards or towards something they’re holding onto tightly. To cut the seagrass in Genshin Impact 4.0 use Xenochromatic Hunter Ray, through which you can slice the softer bits of seagrass using your sharp Water Blades. When you spot one, you use your copy skill to whack it. This will transform your regular old attack into a snazzy slash.
