To craft the Upgrade Depot, you first need to unlock the recipe for it. You can find all your unlocked recipes under the Build menu. Most recipes get unlocked the further into the planet you explore. Unlocking new areas and finding new resources can help you unlock most of the recipes. For unlocking the Upgrade Depot, you just need to explore beyond Meadows and find new resources like Aluminum. Once you have unlocked the recipe for the Upgrade Depot, you will also require various materials for crafting it. Below are the items you would need and how to get them
- Stone x24 – Can be gathered using the Spike Saw
- Aluminum Rod 6x – Gathered around Pine Heights and the southeastern sections of Meadows
- Aluminum Frame 4x – Gather the Aluminum Rods and use the Assembler to craft this
Now that you have the required materials, head over to your base and open up the build menu. Select the Upgrade Depot and place it where you see fit. You can now use it to upgrade all of your Mech’s tools as long as you meet the requirements for the upgrade.
