To start the quest, make your way to the noble quarters of Vernworth. Walk around till you spot Klark standing outside his estate. Talk to him and he will tell you to talk to a sculptor named Fulvio to get a commission piece. Head over to Bakbattahl city in Battahl to find Fulvio’s workshop. It can be located either below the Residential Area or somewhere near your Private Dwelling if you have one here. Find him inside the workshop and talk to him to advance the quest. He will ask you to meet at a designated location, but before you can get there, you have to follow along with a few things first

How to Draw out the Griffin Fight in Dragon’s Dogma 2

You need to find ways to engage with the griffin long enough so Fulvio is satisfied with his sculpting artwork. There are several ways to do that, and the method that offers the most gold as a reward is to first get the Preserved Medusa’s Head. You have to head over to Medusa’s lair to get her head, then quickly make your way back to the meeting spot. This is best achieved using a portcrystal at either Checkpoint Rest Town or Battahl so that the Medusa’s Head won’t turn into Decayed state. Use the head on the griffin to stun it so that Fulvio can get to work. If done correctly, you can earn 4,500 XP and 18,500 gold.

If you don’t want the hassle of battling Medusa, then using Vocation skills is another way to get the griffin to stay still. Sedative Bolt skill used by the Magick Archer Vocation is one skill that is highly effective with the griffin and will help put it to sleep. You can also put it to sleep by using any fire skill, but the only drawback to this is that the griffin will also lose health gradually. Other ways to extend the griffin fight is to just fight it as you normally would. Be sure to keep your pawns away so the griffin doesn’t lose a lot of health and fly away. You need to keep the griffin engaged just long enough for Fulvio to be happy with his work, which can take several minutes.

Wasteland Griffin’s Nest Location in Dragon’s Dogma 2

Once you are ready, accompany Fulvio to the required location to sculpt a griffin. You can find the nest if you head east of Enoa Battahl Forest. Once you reach it, ask your pawns to stay back so you can either stun or fight the Griffin. Once Fulvio is done you can take his leave then return to his workshop after a few days. Talk to him there then visit Klark’s residence to attend the unveiling of the statue.

Rewards for A Case Of Sculptor’s Block in Dragon’s Dogma 2

If you fail the quest by not engaging with the griffin long enough, or if Fulvio is killed or Klark hates the sculpture, then you will get 2,250 XP and 7,000 gold. If you have fought the griffin long enough for Fulvio to be satisfied with the art, then you will receive 4,500 XP and 14,000 gold. If you use the Medusa head, you will get 4,500 XP and 18,500 gold instead.
