The fastest way to cheese a Furnace Golem fight is by attacking its legs. While they have their foot planted on the ground, run up and stagger any one foot three times till they fall down. Riposte and crit damage right on their mask/face and toss one or two Hefty Furnace Pot inside their open flaming head. They will immediately explode and you can collect some items off their corpses. If you have the Pest Thread Spears Incantation, you can use that on one of the feet.
Be careful of staying too close to the Furnace Golem, as they can jump or kick up their feet and create an AoE attack. Keep attacking the foot of the Furnace Golem with the incantation till they fall over. You can continue to use the incantation, or toss some Hefty Furnace Pots to finish them off. If you wish to use only Hefty Furnace Pots to defeat them, then try to find a vantage point above where the Furnace Golems are. Toss a handful of pots into their open heads to kill them without you going close to them
