Baldur’s Gate 3 is one of the most popular role-playing games released a few days back. Players have already jumped into the game to explore all the features. Like the previous installments of the Baldur’s Gate series, this game has 12 classes to choose from, and players can choose any of them as their starting class. However, after progressing for a while, if you feel that the class doesn’t suit you and you must change it, the game gives you that option as well. If you are curious about how to change class in Baldur’s Gate 3, this guide will help you with the process.
Baldur’s Gate 3 Class Change Process- How to Do?
If you have been playing Baldur’s Gate 3 and can’t feel the currently chosen class is suitable, naturally, you want to switch it. The developers have already introduced the Reclass feature, where players can reset many aspects of their chosen class. However, using it requires some help as you can’t access this feature randomly from anywhere.

The Class changing feature is not unlocked from the beginning of the game. Players need to unlock it as they progress through the game. To unlock the Reclass feature, players need to find Withers. Fortunately, this NPC can be located earlier in the game after the Nautoloid ship crash.
Visit Overgrown Ruins and use the key to enter the location. As you explore the area, you will eventually find a rectangular stone hanging from ropes. Enter the passage it creates to unlock Dank Crypt. To unlock it, you must progress towards the passage’s south and pull the level. Now, again you have to progress toward the northwest side of the location and look for a button. The button will be found on a wall. Push it, and it will open the Crypt. Inside the Crypt, a well-decorated coffin is located, and Withers is inside it. Rescue Withers, interact with him, and he can be found at your camp afterward.
Once you rescue Withers and he comes to your camp, though he doesn’t join your party, players can interact with him anytime and change their class using 100 Gold Pieces. The amount is fixed and won’t change no matter how many times you change your class. Also, players can revive their fallen teammates by interacting with Withers. It will cost 200 Gold Pieces.
That’s all you need to know about how to change class in Baldur’s Gate 3.
