Building a FOB in War Dogs provides you with a useful base where you will be able to rally up your team and then plan your next step. However, just creating one at any point will not suffice because there is always a possibility that the enemy can raid this exposed FOB. This guide explains how to build a FOB and protect it from enemy attacks.
How to Build a Forward Operating Base

The first thing you need to do in order to construct your FOB in Wardogs is to obtain the necessary supplies. You should go to the vehicle vendor and acquire a vehicle that will help you carry the supplies.
After getting the vehicle, press the B button to access the supply menu. In the menu, choose the Logistics tab, then choose the Small Crate option. From here, open the Building tab and purchase the supplies for the construction of the Forward Operating Base.
Take the supply box to the designated area where you would like to construct the FOB. Ensure that the area has sufficient open space since the FOB takes up a fair bit of space. Additionally, you must have sufficient cash to deploy it.

At the time when you have reached the spot, it is necessary to sit in the driver’s seat and press G to begin the FOB placement process. You should select an appropriate spot for it. It is important to note that you can’t put the FOB into the building. In case you attempt to deploy it into the room or garage, you will need to go out and find an open area close by.
Moreover, it would be reasonable to select a rather concealed spot so that your teammates could use the FOB without coming under fire instantly. As soon as you deploy the FOB, you can start constructing various structures and other useful things in the vicinity of this spot. Your teammates will be able to use the FOB as a spawn point.
How to Defend Your FOB
To begin, make it hard for your enemies to get to the heart of your FOB. You need to put walls all around the central area, but not in such a manner that your teammates cannot move freely throughout the base and to the most vital spots within it.
After protecting the heart of the base, you can then start to grow out from it, thus creating many lines of defence for your FOB rather than leaving all of it exposed. Even if enemies attack while you are still building, the most important part of your base will already have some protection.
