After installing the DLC, just follow the steps below to board the Oracle.

  • Ensure that you have no bounties and contrabands on you before you start the DLC
  • Next, make your way to any star system without any active missions on it
  • Once you make your way to the star system, pick up the distress call to start the What Remains quest
  • This will lead you to the Oracle, which will be close to whichever system you are in
  • Once you reach the Oracle, do not disembark your ship. Rather, press the Interact button
  • Usually the interact button is E on PC and A on Xbox
  • You can now dock your ship and start the Shattered Space DLC

In case you are new to the game and you haven’t unlocked the DLC yet, you need to complete the One Small Step main story mission. It doesn’t matter whether you join the Constellation or not, you just need to complete the mission. Once that is done, follow the steps above and you will start the Shattered Space DLC. You need to keep in mind that the missions within the DLC are extremely tough, so exploring the missions at a lower level will not be enjoyable. Wait till you are above level 35 to explore the DLC
