Team to beat Zorba
The protagonist is set to Mage who has inherited healing abilities from the Healer class. While Mages have slightly better endurance, there’s no need to switch to that class. The Healer’s healing skills are perfectly sufficient for his needs.
Hulkenberg should be set as a Knight. Her ability, Knight’s Proclamation, is very useful for increasing the party’s stats, and her high endurance allows her to withstand enemy attacks.
Strohl should be set as a Brawler. Brawler has slightly higher attack power. The Brawler’s Perfect Punch ability can deal a high amount of damage, especially if their health is kept high. With a Healer in the party, this is a viable choice.
Character | Archetype | Position |
Protagonist | Mage | Back |
Strohl | Brawler | Front |
Hulkenberg | Knight | Front |
How to beat Zorba
Before facing Zorba, make sure your party is fully healed and has plenty of magic points. You can replenish your health and magic at the Magla Hollow in the Royal Portrait Hall, a few floors below. Proper preparation is essential for defeating this challenging boss.
Zorba will summon zombies called Corpsethralls during the battle. To take advantage of their weakness, use the Hama spell from the Healer Archetype. Hama not only damages Corpsethralls but also deals normal damage to Zorba himself.
The Knight’s Jump Thrust Synthesis Skill is a powerful attack against Zorba. It deals significant damage and also reduces his defense for three turns. Since you’ll be relying heavily on physical attacks during this fight, using Jump Thrust can make it even more effective.
If Zorba summons multiple zombies, use the Warrior’s Round Slash Synthesis Skill to eliminate them. Round Slash is even more effective if you’ve previously used Jump Thrust to lower Zorba’s defense.
Use the Medi spell from the Healer Archetype to heal all your party members. Zorba and his zombies will target everyone, as keeping your allies healthy is important in the battle. This is just one approach to defeating Zorba. There may be other effective strategies you can discover.
