Lingxuzi Boss Fight Preparation
You can find Lingxuzi within the Forest of Wolves in Black Wind Mountain. There is a shrine and temple called Guanyin Temple where the boss is located. Before stepping foot here, there are a few things to keep in mind. Get your hands on the Pilgrim’s armor set, which should be available for crafting now. Also invest your spark points in attributes that boost your max HP and stamina.
As for skills, unlock and upgrade the Pillar Stance, Thrust Stances, and Immobilize. If you have defeated the optional boss Guangzhi before this, then you can unlock and use Red Tide. Using Red Tide just as the fight starts will inflict Burn damage, helping you lower Lingxuzi’s health faster
Lingxuzi Boss Fight Guide
Lingxuzi is a beast boss and mostly deals melee attacks. It has no weapons, so you can use this info to your advantage. The boss will try to get in close range most of the time, so you have to dodge whenever it gets too close. Lingxuzi will swipe with its claws and will immediately attack you as soon as you step foot inside the temple. Keep dodging continuously till it stops. Use Pillar Stance whenever you see an incoming swipe to avoid it. You can hit him with Red Tide as soon as you enter the temple and follow it up with Immobilize and deal combo attacks to lower its health
Once its health is halfway, it will jump up to the rafters of the temple and will try to pounce down at you. Keep an eye on the boss and dodge out of the way as soon as you see it coming down. The rest of the moveset is the same and Lingxuzi will try only close range attacks. Use Pillar Stance to avoid its swipes and Immobilize only when you are in a pinch. Keep a tab on your mana and consumables and try not to use up too much mana early in the game.
