Victoria 3: How To Get Resources & Goods
There are four types of goods in Victoria 3, and they are: Staple, Industrial, Luxury and Military. Every country needs goods and resources in order to keep running. You will also be able to use the natural resources from the nature surrounding your nation, but you will need to extract them effectively.

If you want to know what goods are in demand in your country, you will be able to see them in the Market section. This is shown on the left on your game screen, where your Pops will tell you what they need. These can include Staple as well as Indstrial goods. As for Military goods, you will need to get them to supply your army. Pops also want some Luxury goods, which are not necessary but will increase their level of wealth and social stature. They are important as rich Pops will support your government and ask for more Luxury goods to raise the wealth of your nation.
If the needs of the Pops are not met, they might get radical and try to overthrow the government. In order to get goods, you will first need to get resources to make them. There are some natural resources which vary from country to country which is called the Resource Potential of a country. These can include Arable Land, Gold Rubber, and you will be able to check them out on the Goods Information page.
Sometimes, you will need to research technology in order to procure a particular resource. Then, all you need to do is to make the required production buildings and the resources will be added to your nation’s inventory. You will be able to make goods from them after building the required structures to produce the goods you need.
