There are many new features added to the game but one of the most popular and well-liked is the Synchronise System which lets players sync with their Pokemon and explore the world as them. How does the Synchronize Work?

To use the new Synchronize system in the new DLC The Indigo Disk, players need to follow these steps: 

  1. Players need to first own the new DLC The Indigo Disk and then install it 
  2. After that, players need to start the new DLC story and continue it until they get the free-roaming access 
  3. Then players need to go to the healing pod on the top floor of the Central Plaza in the Terarium
  4. There, players will need to meet a scientist named Synclaire who will be standing beside the Pokemon healing machine 
  5. Then players need to interact with the NPC Synclaire and she will ask them to help with a few tests 
  6. After that, players need to perform two short tests and she will unlock and explain the Synchronise system
  7. Then players need to hold L and then press R when their Pokémon out on the field (outside Pokeball) 
  8. After synching with the Pokemon, players can control their Pokémon and can fight with the Y button and sprint by clicking the Left Stick.
