The game offers several tools to utilize to help you renovate your dream home. But sometimes you might have to break structures down to build new ones as part of the process. Like with all tools in House Flipper 2, you have to complete quests to unlock them. The Demolition Tool and the Building Tool are two of the last tools you need to unlock. To unlock them, you need to complete the quest for David Hoffman called A Floor Plan to Change. This is one of the later quests in the game that will appear after you unlock Crayfish Coast. To complete the quest, you need to remodel the upper section of the owner’s house. During the quest you will learn how to demolish and build new structures.
To use the demolish tool, select it from the tool’s wheel and use your hammer to break down the highlighted structure. You have to press and hold the LMB to charge the hammer swing to break the structure. You have to do this several times if you are going to destroy a large area.
Next, select the Building tool from the tool wheel and aim and drop the bricks on the desired area. The area where the bricks will be laid will be highlighted, so you can check where you want it to go. The next step is to place the cement on top of the bricks by swinging the mouse pointer over the laid down bricks. You can now stack another layer of bricks and continue to build. Usually the areas that need to be demolished and/or rebuilt will be highlighted in the blueprint after you pick up the quest, so you can check that before you start your job.
