Finding the right key in Gray Zone Warfare is not as hard as it looks. All you have to do is locate it in the respective area where you are supposed to open the door. For example, if you have to find the restaurant key, then make your way to the restaurant POI in your town. You have to scavenge the area thoroughly inside and outside the building. If you encounter AI bots, then you can kill them to get the key as a drop. If you can’t find the key in the exact location, then try to travel a bit further away and scavenge for the key there. Usually you can find the required key if you explore the specific area where you need to investigate.
Sometimes, you might have a hard time trying to get the key to spawn. Even if you have defeated all the AI bots and searched within and nearby the area, you might not get it as a drop. There are a few things you can try if you don’t get the key
- Ask you teammates for the key if they have it
- Join a different server as someone else might have picked it up if they were there first.
- Travel to a different area on the map then wait for the bots to respawn, then revisit the area to search for the key again
- Restart the game and try again
Once you get the key, you can keep it on you forever. So they can be stored away in your inventory and can help your teammates complete the tasks if they don’t have the key. Whenever you are carrying the key, be sure to keep it in your safe locker so you don’t lose it when you die
