While Goose Goose Duck is similar to another popular social deduction game called Among Us, Goose Goose Duck offers more player roles to include a wide variety of characters. One of the roles that you can pick or can be assigned to you is the Pelican role. Pelicans are unique, and if you know how to use this role effectively, you can be the last bird standing. In this guide, we will see how to play as a Pelican in Goose Goose Duck.
Goose Goose Duck – How to Play as Pelican
The Pelican is not a part of the Goose or Duck team, and only has one goal; to be the last bird standing. Here we will see how to play as Pelican in Goose Goose Duck.
The Pelican is a unique role and is very similar to the Falcon. In both roles, you have to be the last alive bird in the round to win. But unlike the Falcons, the Pelicans have a unique way to kill their opponents. While Falcons will leave behind carcasses after a kill, the Pelicans will swallow their enemies whole. They will then proceed to store them in their mouth pouch till the next team meeting. During this time, the victim can speak to the Pelican and distract them from performing tasks. The eaten bird can also use other tactics to warn others while inside the Pelican, and if they are successful, the Pelican will be outed.
To win as a Pelican, you need to blend in with the teams and not look suspicious. You also have to time your swallows correctly, and avoid other birds during this process. Also, you can hear your victim trying to talk to you while in your mouth, so you need good focus skills to do your fake tasks and talk to other birds. There is a cooldown between swallowing the first victim and the next, so you need to keep that in mind when attacking your enemies. After the next meeting, you can successfully swallow the victim, and try to hunt some more birds. Keep doing this till all the birds are eaten, then you will win the round.
