Genshin Impact has kicked off Version 3.2 with a blast- finally ending the Sumeru Archon Quest chapter and releasing Nahida- both in in-game story and as a playable character. The Version 3.3 Beta Program has also long started and the leaks are pouring in. We finally have a brief overview of what we can expect from the next Version 3.3 update of Genshin Impact on December 7th, 2022.

Version 3.3 Genshin Impact Update Overview Leaked

It’s already been leaked we’re getting playable Wanderer and Faruzan wherein the Wanderer (Scaramouche) is a 5-star Anemo catalyst DPS and Faruzan is a 4-star Anemo bow support from the Akademiya. Just like Genshin’s recent release trends, we’re like to have the Wanderer in the first half with a cast of familiar 4-stars and a rerun banner running alongside.  Faruzan is expected to come in the second half of the update as a new featured 4-star on shared rerun banners.

Genius Invokation TCG is on the horizon as a new casual game mode for players. According to some leaks players will even have the option to delete its resources if they aren’t a fan of this new game mode as it will be an optional feature and won’t affect the primary overworld gameplay experience in any way.

Alongside two new characters, we’re also getting a new artifact domain from Sumeru with two new artifact sets. One of them is an Anemo set focused on buffing Anemo DPS users who don’t rely on Swirls for their damage. The other is a Bloom-based set determined to buff Bloom and its sub-reactions. We’re also getting two new weapons- one of them will be a free event weapon while the other will be Wanderer’s best-in-slot.

As for events, we’re getting a rerun of Windtrace in Inazuma with new disguise options and we’re also getting another Misty Dungeon- this time based in the desert setting. Of the two new events, Akitsu Kimodameshi is an Itto event which is likely related to be a test-of-courage so players can expect a halloween theme. The last event will be an overworld balloon-collecting event which we’re not exactly sure of what it entails.

While it’s true about no new areas or locations, this will be a major update depending on the TCG’s success and popularity. If a majority of the players choose not to uninstall TCG after the first few weeks, Genshin can be said to have a new feature to keep players hooked
