The Chenyu Vale in Genshin IMpact is filled with mysterious objects. As you explore the area, you will stumble across a gate that cannot be opened and therefore, you cannot enter the Chizhang Wall ruins. The only clue you have is to investigate the Diffuser Inscription. Once you investigate, you will get more clues as to open the gate. You require two Fragrant Woods that you can offer at the Diffuser Inscription to open the gate.
This will require you to solve two very simple puzzles in the game. Solving each of the puzzles will reward you with one Fragrant Wood. Here is how to solve the Genshin Impact 4.4 Diffuser Inscription Puzzle.
How to Solve Genshin Impact 4.4 Diffuser Inscription Puzzle
Once you have interacted with the Diffuser Inscription. Head to the below location on the map and solve the first puzzle.
Fragrant Wood Huangcong
Once you are at the location, you will be able to see ruins. Head down and solve the puzzle to obtain the Fragrant Wood Huangcong.
Go to the below location in the image and pick up one of the fallen pillars. Place the pillar in the exact spot and it will open the door in front of it.
Once the door is open, get inside the ruins and you will find another broken pillar. Pick up the structure and place it in the exact spot as shown in the below image.
The next step in the puzzle is to pick the first pillar that you placed and place it above in the last empty space to open the door in the above image.
Once the gate opens, go in and exit immediately. There are a lot of booby traps that trigger as soon as you enter. Once all the traps have exploded, go in and pick up another piece of structure that you require to solve the puzzle. Take the structure and place it at the location shown in the below image.
Once you have done this, go back and pick up all the pieces of pillars you placed earlier one by one and match them in their respective spots. After placing all the pillars, the first puzzle will be solved and you will be able to interact with the Diffuser. After interacting a chest will appear and you will get the Fragrant Wood Huangcong.
Fragrant Wood Chizhang
The second part of the quest is to unlock the Fragrant Wood Chizhang, which requires you to solve another similar puzzle at a second location. Check the below map for where you need to be to solve the puzzle.
Once you are at the location and can see the machine giant and the first missing pillar. Head down from there until you can find the locked room as shown in the below image. You cannot open this door but can walk along the space skirting the room. There is a hole you can enter through and pick up the broken pillar piece. Check the below image for the pillar and where to place it.
The second structure can be found opposite to the machine giant. Check out the below image for the location of the structure and where to place it.
To get the third missing structure, you need to wake the giant and defeat it. Once the machine giant moves from its place, you can find the third pillar in the hole under it. Go to the Machine Giant and kick it to wake it up. Once the fight is over, pick the pillar and place it in the location shown in the below image.
Once you place the pillar, the Fragrant Wood Chizhang puzzle will be solved and you can interact with the Diffuser to get the Fragrant Wood Chizhang.
Solve Genshin Impact 4.4 Diffuser Inscription Puzzle
Once you have the Fragrant Wood Chizhang and Fragrant Wood Huangcong, go to the Diffuser Inscription in Chizhang Wall and offer the incense to open the gate.
