To start the Saints of the Slums quest, you need to complete the previous quests; Seat of the Sovran, The Heel of History, and The Gift of Giving. Once you are done, make your way to the Slums of Vernworth and head over to The Gracious Hand. You will spot Abbess Elena outside the Gracious Hand, and you can talk to her to start the quest. Gather Miasmites for her by killing Phantoms at night, after which you can gain entry to The Gracious Hand.
Inside, you will meet Lubomir, who is a sick patient here. After Elena leaves, talk to Lubomir again and he will tell you that something is not right. You have to find and talk to Lottie, who is outside the Gracious Hand entrance, and she will tell you about the basement sickroom. Go back and inform Lubormir about this and you can start the investigation of the basement.
Evidence #1 Location
To go to the basement, you first need to wait for nightfall to find the basement door unlocked. Head over to the western section of the Gracious Hand till you find a flight of stairs leading down. Go down and at the very end of the passage, enter the door on the right. Inside this room you can pick up the Records of Treatment and the Unlabeled Medicine. You can find these two items on the bookshelves and the tables.
Evidence #2 Location
Make your way to Walter’s Tavern just outside the Gracious Hand. you can spot two NPCs named Jehan and Bruno. Talk to them to get more clues.
Evidence #3 Location
For the last bit of evidence, make your way west of The Common Quarter. You can spot Elena meeting up with someone suspicious.
Apprehend the Abbess
Once you have all the evidence, talk to Lubomir. After checking out the medicine bottle, he will send you to Checkpoint Rest Town to speak to Dr. Radcliff. Hand over the medicine to the doctor and wait for a day to get the results. Once you get the results, you can apprehend Elena at The Gracious Hand
