Go to the Crow’s Road Rooftop in Treviso Canals and follow the marker until you reach a rooftop courtyard. In the Gate of Deep Sorrows, you’ll need to find a group of Venatori performing a ritual near a large, pulsating Blight Cyst. Stop them and prepare to fight a powerful enemy once you release the champion trapped within the cyst.
How to find Venatori in Gate Of Deep Sorrows
- Go to the Treviso Canals and fast travel to the Crow’s Road Rooftops beacon.
- Follow the marker to a gap and jump across.
- Continue along the right side of the path until you reach an open courtyard.
- Defeat the Venatori performing a ritual around the Blight Cyst.
- Release Desmal, Bloodbound to Elgar’nan, from the Blight Cyst.
How to defeat Desmal in Gate Of Deep Sorrows
Desmal is resistant to poison damage but weak to fire. He also has an extra layer of protection, Blight armor, on top of his normal health. While it’s possible to defeat him at a lower level, it’s extremely risky.
- Desmal’s attacks are wide-ranging and can spawn damaging red spikes on the ground.
- Staying mobile and dodging his telegraphed attacks is crucial to avoid damage.
- Prioritize dodging his leap attack, which can also spawn red spikes.
- Destroy Blight Boils to prevent more enemies from spawning.
- Staggering Desmal opens him up for heavy damage.
- Combine staggering with detonation combos for maximum damage.
