Sling TV is a popular online streaming platform where you can watch your favorite shows on the go. It has been gaining traction over the years and is one of the go-to streaming platforms in the US. Fix 10-403 Sling Unexpected Error
Sling has been experiencing errors for a while where users experience Sling TV Down or Sling Unexpected Error. Here we will see if there are any ways to fix an unexpected sling error or 10-403 sling error.
Currently, there is no proper fix for sling login error or sling tv down, but the issue has been addressed by the Sling TV Twitter page.
They have also mentioned that due to the high influx of contact volume, the wait times will be longer while trying to Sling login, causing the Sling TV Down error. The only solution they have offered is to restart your device or reinstall the app. Some users found the following steps helpful:
- Uninstall Sling TV
- Download the app again
- Turn off the TV
- If using a streaming stick like Roku or Amazon Fire TV, unplug the device
- Reinsert the device and try to stream Sling TV.
If using the PC application, changing the DNS setting from Google DNS to Open DNS seems to help. You can follow the steps below to change the DNS setting
- On your PC, hit the settings option
- From there, go to Network and Internet > Advanced > Network and Sharing
- Select Change Adapter Settings in the left panel
- Right-click on your Wi-Fi or Ethernet and select Properties
- Under the Networking tab, find and select the option Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP / IPv4)
- After that, click on the Properties button
- Check the box to “Use the following DNS addresses”
- Input the following – Preferred: 208.67.222.222. Alternate: 208.67.220.220
- Click Save.
You can also check whether your Sling TV app is up to date, as older versions can cause Sling login errors. Besides that, you can wait it out, or contact Sling customer support to complain.
