Faruzan is the new 4-star leaked to be releasing alongside Scaramouche in Version 3.3 of Genshin Impact. She’s leaked to be an Anemo bow user and her status in Sumeru is that of a student of the Akademiya. Her leaked kit looks interesting and according to theorycrafters she could be a DPS buffing unit like Sara but with Anemo.
Faruzan’s Initial Kit in Genshin Impact 3.3
Her elemental skill has a marking mechanism and it creates a Wind Zone on the ground that can suck in enemies. We guess it will be similar to Sucrose’s E in this regard. In her elemental burst, she spawns a creature much like Itto’s Ushi and this does a burst of damage.
Her normal attacks have a unique charged shot mechanism which somehow works with her E skill and this reduces Anemo RES of enemies by 50%. The RES shred doesn’t last 18 seconds according to another leaker so it might be the Wind Zone that has the 18-sec duration. Hurricane Arrows are the name her special charged shots are given and these will likely be the main part of her kit.
Her Q is again said to do a chunk of damage when cast and it somehow buffs your party for 12.5 seconds. The Anemo DMG value of the initial cast isn’t mentioned. This leak notably also doesn’t mention any “creature”.
Her first ascension passive reduces the charge time of her Hurricane Arrows by 60%. Her fourth ascension passive is said to have a Shenhe effect where it buffs your team a certain amount- likely scaling off of your Base DMG and lasting until the duration of your Q. Her burst remains difficult to decode and make sense of which is why the ambiguity of what it exactly does.
As for her constellations, her C1 gives her two arrows which could mean two Hurricane Arrows here because that is looking like the most useful part of her kit. Her C2 extends the duration of her burst which could either mean more damage or a longer duration of the buff she gives her teammates.
Her C4 refunds her some energy which is again indirectly encouraging players to use her burst more. Her C6 directly buffs her burst which now gives 50% CRIT DMG when dealing Anemo DMG. Her Hurricane Arrows also fire off every 4 seconds which refreshes the RES shred.
From the looks of it, her burst and Hurricane Arrows are the primary focus of her kit and since we’re seeing a lot of Anemo RES shred, we expect her to work well with units like Heizou and Scaramouche. It wouldn’t be surprising to release a 4-star support specifically catered to their event banner 5-star Scaramouche. Just like how Sara was released to buff Yae and Raiden, Faruzan could play the same role for Scaramouche.
