Shroud Wood can be obtained the same way as regular wood, but the catch here is that you need to head into the Shrouded region to find it. The Shrouded region is a foggy area away from your base, and you will be notified of entering the Shrouded area when you step foot here. Once you enter the Shrouded area, you can explore it to find Shrouded Trees. They resemble regular trees, so you can get to work quickly when you spot them. It is best to craft an axe first before you go around finding Shrouded Wood to chop them up quicker. Don’t forget to pick them up from the floor once the item drops. They will also repsawn in the same area if you log out and log back in, so you can use this trick to farm Shroud Wood
You should note that there is a timer for how long you can survive inside the Shrouded area. If you wish to increase your stay, you have to unlock certain skills from the skill tree. Namely, the Inner Fires and Relentless Flame skills will help you last longer within the Shroud. Another way you can increase your stay is to farm Shroud Wood close to the border of the Shrouded region. So when your timer is up, you can quickly escape to the regular grasslands and return when the timer resets. The earliest Shrouded area you will explore is while rescuing the Blacksmith. This is a great way to hunt for Shroud Trees and farm Shroud Wood.
