To find Beren and pick up the Claw Them Into Shape quest, head over to Moonglow Garden. You can find this place if you take the road west from Borderwatch Outpost. Once you reach the bridge where the campsite is, head north to find a dirt path that leads to a grassy plain on the east side. You can only find Beren at night, so rest at a campsite to pass the time. Talk to Beren when you find him to start the quest. You have two objectives to clear first before you can duel Beren. To find a motivated soldier, head over to the main city of Vernworth. Head over to either the inn or the Vocation Guild till someone approaches you. He will introduce himself as Humphrey, and you can tell him about finding a soldier. He will accept and run off to find Beren.
Next, you need to get weapons, namely swords. You don’t need to collect any expensive sword, as any one handed sword will work. Collect three swords, which can be found from various vendors, and hand it over to Beren to complete the first part of the quest.
