Taking the IR beacon is the first objective of the Look Out mission. To find it, head to the Ashika Island map. From wherever you spawn, keep going northwest till you reach the coast. You have to reach the northwest corner of the map, then jump into the water and swim north.
It is best if you make your way to Oganikku Farms and jump into the water directly north of it. From there, keep swimming north till you spot some boulders. There are boulders here sticking out from the sea, and if you get close to it you will find the IR Beacon. There will be only one IR Beacon spawn, so only one person can pick it up if working as a team.
After you have picked up the IR Beacon, you would have completed the first objective of the Look Out mission. Now all that is left is to take the Beacon and plant it on the roof of Ashika Castle. Doing so will complete this White Lotus faction mission.
