The Summer Sun update lets you grow your seasonal crops throughout the year and it will not wilt when the season is over. To do this, you need to collect a rare item called Tropical Grass Turf Roll. This item has been newly added in the latest update, and the only way you can get it is to visit the new islands. To get to the islands, you need to build an Airport first, then take the flight over there. The Tropical Grass Turf Roll can be scavenged on land, so have a good look around and collect as many of them as you can.

After gathering the Tropical Grass Turf Roll, make your way back to your farm. Place all the rolls into the compost box and take a nap. After it is done composting, you will get the Season All fertilizer. To use it, use your hoe on your farmland and prepare the soil. Place the Season All fertilizer first, then plant your seeds. You can get one fertilizer per Tropical Grass Turf Roll you put in the compost bin, and only one fertilizer will be used per plot. With that in mind, you can start growing your crops and keep them throughout the year.
