Diablo 4’s beta is now available for pre-orderers or those who were given a code in any other way. This is a very full introduction to the game with an entire act, a world boss, and several classes unlocked. It is now causing extensive queue times as players are logging in en masse, resulting in over an hour of idle waiting for a chance to play.

As part of the Early Access program, those that have pre-purchased Diablo 4 will have access to the Open Beta from 17 to 19 March 2023. On the following weekend, the Open Beta will be available to everyone from 24 to 26 March 2023. Given the huge amount of time invested in Diablo 4, many players are curious whether their progress will carry over. Let’s see this in this guide.

Does the Beta Program Carry Over in Diablo 4?

It is not possible to transfer your beta progress to the full game in Diablo 4. Therefore, you will be left behind if you were a Diablo 4 beta player. Despite the fact that it was expected, fans still hoped that they could grind out the Diablo 4 beta. Getting a head start on the game will enable the player to gain a competitive advantage when the game is released on June 6, 2023.

There is the possibility that progress from the early access and open betas can carry over, but Blizzard has stated that all players will have to start from scratch once the title is released. As a result of the unlocked content, all players will have an entirely different experience than they did when they participated in the betas, at that point.

According to Blizzard, while progress will transfer from Early Access weekends to Open Beta weekends, all characters that are created during these weekends will be deleted once the Beta test is over.

It is imperative to note, however, that players taking part in the first-weekend beta will be able to transfer their progress to the second weekend, which means whatever players unlock between March 17-19 will remain there when they log back into the game on March 24. Diablo 4 players who were unable to participate in the beta will begin at the same point as those who participated on June 6, 2023.

Beta progress for the game is now live, so if you are interested in playing it, then grab it while it’s still available. Also, keep checking our other guides for more updates.
