While you can go around the overworld and hunt beasts and werecreatures, it will take a while to get crushed beast bones as drops. To get crushed beast bones quickly, you have to head over to Scosglen, particularly to Highland Wilds East. Over here, there is a Super Unique Monster boss called Gaspar Stilbian. To get to Gaspar, you can use the Tirmair Waypoint to get there, or head left from the Whispering Pines dungeon.
Gaspar is a level 35 boss but can be quickly cheesed since he does not attack back as much. Once he is down, you are guaranteed to get 5 crushed beast bones. You can then visit the Alchemist and upgrade the Light healing potion after acquiring all the other materials. The best part about attacking Gaspar is that he will respawn if you visit the location again, so you can farm crushed beast bones this way very quickly.
