In this guide, we will show you how to complete the Derndale Strange Little Girl exploration quest in Where Winds Meet. You will meet Gu Yun at Stellabed Rocks, who will send you into a grove to find a golden mask and uncover a hidden manuscript. Along the way, you will need to investigate the workshops, gather clues, and steal the correct manuscript to complete the quest.
Derndale Strange Little Girl
To start the quest, go to Stellabed Rocks. There you will find a girl, Gu Yun. Talk to her, and she will tell you to go inside a grove and find an Artificer. The Artificer died in the grove and has a golden mask. The girl asks you to get the gold mask and wear it to enter the valley to find a manuscript, signed as Gu Qiu.
Entering the Valley
After getting the mask, wear it and enter the valley to find the manuscript. Then follow the quest marker and talk with Zhu. Now, inspect the nearby surroundings. After inspecting the nearby surroundings, you will be asked to learn more about the second workshop. Follow the quest marker and talk with the NPC to know more about the area. Be careful while interacting with the items, as there are many NPCs guarding the area.
Stealing the Manuscript
After inspecting everything, you have to view all the clues and assess the situation. You came to know that the workshop had made no progress in the research. After getting all the information, you will get a prompt to select which workshop manuscript you need to steal. You need to steal the Wonder Workshop by using Celestial Seize and completing the Going Way Off Script. Completing this quest rewards you with:
