The only way you can unlock the next hazard level is by completing all the objectives in the current level. There are 3 objectives per zone, and these objectives can vary between mining a set amount of resources, upgrading your weapons or gear, and completing the biome run. Each time you complete the level, you will receive Nitra as a reward. You can then use them to upgrade your items, hence giving you a special coin item. You would need to collect several of these coins to unlock the next hazard level.
Repeat the process a few more times to unlock all the hazard levels of that biome. There are 5 levels for each biome, and each level will offer different objectives. Clear them all and collect the coins to unlock the next hazard level
