They are quite rare to spot, and they also hold a lot of secrets inside. During the quest Going Deeper, you will find two Sea People who look like they need help, but you cannot communicate with them. While talking to Dr. Bacon about it, you will receive the next quest. For the Sea People Language Translator quest, you need to complete the following objectives
- Find Amethyst (1)
- Find the Microphone (1)
- Find the Sea People Stone Tablet (1)
After you complete the Going Deeper quest, you will talk to Dr. Bacon on the boat to get this quest. You will also unlock the Photo Spots feature if you talk to Udo before the night ends. After that, head underwater to pick up the above items.
How to Get Amethyst, Microphone, and Sea People Stone Tablet in Dave the Diver
For Amethyst, if you picked up the pickaxe during the Going Deeper quest, you can mine for Amethyst beside it If not, go back to the area where you encountered the two Sea People in the previous quest. From there, go right to the escape pod near the tunnel to find Amethyst. You can check out our quest guide and how to get Amethyst in Dave the Diver.
As for the microphone in Dave the Diver, you have to visit the shipwreck area where the Giant Squid resides. You would know this place if you completed the Duff’s Pink Delivery quest. The microphone can be found in the Under the Sunken Ship area. And lastly, you need to find the Sea People Stone Tablet. Dive towards the Limestone Cave area during the daytime.
You would know this place if you tried to find the mural and sea grapes during previous quests. You will find the Record Chamber here, where you used explosives previously to get inside. The Stone Tablet is in the middle of the chamber. Pick it up and deliver all the items to Dr. Bacon to complete the Sea People Language Translator Quest in Dave the Diver.
