To upgrade Dragon Spirit, you will first need Dragon Coins. You can earn Dragon Coins only after you have attained the Dragon Spirit ability. In case you don’t have the ability, make your way to the Lunar New Year spin event and use Lucky Coins to spin the wheel. You will get four chances per day, so you can keep trying till you have unlocked Dragon Spirit.
After getting Dragon Spirit, the next time you spin you will get Dragon Coins in its place. The chances of getting Dragons Spirit and/or Dragon Coins is very low, around 0.13% chances to get. So you would have to try several times before you can get them. But once you do get the coins and the spirit, you would just require one coin to upgrade Dragon Spirit
