To get Loong Scales, you need to reach Chapter 2. While following the main storyline, you will encounter two bosses, namely the Second Prince of Flowing Sands and the King of Flowing Sands. You will encounter both bosses beyond Sandgate Village. Once you fight both these bosses, you will have access to the Valley of Despair shrine. Activate it and head into the cave nearby to find the final boss of the area, the First Prince of Flowing Sands

Inside the arena of the First Prince, you will find an ornate wall filled with mini statues. You need to find a way to break this wall. There are a few ways you can do that. The first method is to try and lure the boss towards the wall and have him break it. The second method is to use the Wandering Wight Spirit to headbutt the wall. You can also use Azure’s Dust Transformation Spell to create a crack. Once the wall is cracked you can slip inside and collect the Loong Scales
