Black Myth Wukong is filled with secret areas that do not appear unless you have embarked on side quests. One secret area is in Chapter 2 which only appears when you go through the Drunken Boar questline. Completing the questline will allow you to fight 3 bosses that would otherwise not appear in the game. The three bosses are Yellow-Robed Squire, Secret Tiger Vanguard, and Fuban. I will let you know how to access the secret area and the necessary steps to complete the Drunken Boar Questline.
Black Myth Wukong Drunken Boar Questline Guide
To start the Drunken Boar questline, you must first find the Drunken Boar. Go to Yellow Wind Ridge > Fright Cliff > Rockrest Flat Shrine. Once you are at the Shrine, head straight along the path, passing the enemy with the spear. Once you pass through the stick barrier and are in the open, you will see the drunken boar straight ahead.
Go and talk to the boar, he will say that he is too drunk and needs a sobering item that can be found in Windrest.
Sobering Stone Location
To get the Sobering Stone in Black Myth Wukong, you have to go to Yellow Wind Ridge > Yellow Wind Formation > Windrest Bridge Shrine. From the Shrine, head down and pass the stone bridge. Take the first left and then head straight. At the end of the path, take a right turn and climb the stairs. Go into the complex and take a left turn. At the end, there is a house with a busted door. You will find the Sobering Stone there.
Once you have the Sobering Stone, return back to the Drunken Boar and he will request you to find some meat for him, which can be found at The Temple of Crouching Tiger.
Meat Location for Drunken Boar Questline
Go to Yellow Wind Ridge > Crouching Tiger Temple > Temple Entrance Shrine. When you spawn at the shrine, buy the 1 Jade Lotus for 90 Will from the Temple Entrance Shrine which will be required later. Go into the temple and take a right from the third flight of stairs as shown in the image below.
You will find a bore there. Interact with the boar and he will request the Jade Lotus. Give him the lotus and go through the cutscene.
Return to the Drunken Boar Area and Defeat Yellow Robed Squire Boar
To proceed, you’ll need the Arhat Gold Piece, which can be obtained from the First Prince of Flowing Sands in the Valley of Despair.
The Yellow Robed Squire Boar is exactly opposite of where you found the Drunken Boar as shown in the above image. As soon as you approach the boar he will get angry for you having his brother’s gold. Defeat the boar and he will surrender.
Next, he will teleport you to the Chapter 2 hidden area – Kingdom of Sahali. Head straight and follow the boar inside the large door. A long cutscene follows.
