The quest Between Heaven and Hell in Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred will take you to the city of Temis and the mysterious area of Temis Promenade. Reach Temis Promenade
The quest Between Heaven and Hell starts in the town area of Temis. Once you’re in town, proceed north to the west corner of the town. The path from the start is blocked off, so you’ll have to go around to find your way. Continue following the pathway until you reach the entrance of the Temis Promenade.
Search for the Hands of Akarat
When you enter the area, your goal is to continue your search for the Hands of Akarat as you travel through this strange zone and down towards the northeast. While travelling to the northeast, you will hear conversations of multiple NPCs in the background discussing the demons, defenses of the area, and the influence of Mephisto.
You will reach a part of the game that does not provide a clear path forward and is blocked. Here, you’ll need to listen to the conversation taking place at that point by interacting with the nearby wall. Once you have heard the discussion about the prophet and Mephisto having the queen’s confidence and ear, you will need to continue moving along.
Investigate the Crowd and Finish the Quest
It is thought that Lorath traveled through this area, but you cannot take the direct route because of the guards in place. Therefore, go around the guards and investigate what is happening in the crowd nearby. After that, continue moving toward the objective marker, while more dialogue will play related to Mephisto’s servants and the suspicious Hand of Akarat.
Investigate the location, follow the pathway and descend the ramp until you reach the end of the line. Finally, reaching the destination will complete the Between Heaven and Hell quest in Diablo 4.
