Best League Starters for POE 3.22 Trial of the Ancestors

Here are the best starters builds players can choose from in the new update called Trials of the Ancestor:

  1. Detonate Dead Elementalist
  2. Explosive Arrow Ballista
  3. Hexblast Mine Saboteur
  4. Lightning Arrow Deadeye
  5. Boneshatter Juggernaut

These 5 are arguably the best starting league build in the game right now.

Detonate Dead Elementalist: this is a Boss killing machine build as this boosts the damage against bosses as well as has a very good speed in clearing the whole map as well.  If players know what they are doing and are only here to kill all the bosses (veterans or speed running), this build can be the best build for them but with all those damage boost this build can be fragile (not like paper thin but still).

Explosive Arrow Ballista: this is one of the best builds for starters since the past few leagues and with it receiving no extensive nerfs it is still very good. This build best advantage is that it does not require any Uniques so players can start farming bosses and clearing maps without any investment into their gear.

Hexblast Mine Saboteur: this build is one of the highest single-target damage-dealing builds in the game. Unlike other mines, Hexblast Mine doesn’t need manual detonation and players can preemptively throw these mines for harder mobs. This build is ideal for those who like to see very big numbers but the only flaw is that the damage is here against the cost of some defense.

Lightning Arrow Deadeye: this build is for those players who like to stay at a distance but still want to decimate their opponents. Once the Lightning Arrow starts going the whole screen will be cleared out of mobs. It can take some ramp-up time but once it starts going it can be very fun (not for enemies).

Boneshatter Juggernaut: With the recent buff to Melee damage, Boneshatter has become a very good build choice for players. If players manage to get a good weapon early on in the game this build will easily clear bosses and the whole map. By going juggernaut with Boneshatter build, players can neglect the most basic melee downside of being stunned or low defence.
