In order to complete the Return Rakath’s Gold quest, players need to follow these steps:

Players need to talk to Halsin during Act 2 to start the quest
After that players will need to look for clues about where Thaniel’s whereabouts is
Then players need to go to the Lakeshore where they will meet Halsin
After talking to him, players need to defend the Portal from waves of enemies (there will be 3 waves)
After defending the portal from enemies, players need to go back to camp and meet Halsin again.
This is where players can actually recruit Halsin into their team.
Players then find and talk to Oliver but to talk to him, they need to play a game of hide-and-seek with him
After finding him twice, players will finally talk to Oliver and ask him to reunite with Thaniel
After refusing to reunite, he will open a portal and go to the city, where players need to fight and defeat him.
After defeating Oliver, Players simply need to return to camp and speak with Thaniel and Halsin which will prompt the end of the quest.
