After saving him from getting consumed by this would-be vampire lord, Astarion will give players 2 choices (not directly)

If players decided to Help Astarion with the ritual, this will be the worse decision as he will become the super vampire. Not only that, the ritual requires all the spawns to be sacrificed in the area as well. This is truly the worse ending for Astarion and the players.
If players decided to stop Astarion from finishing the ritual, they would need to persuade him and make him realise that he is making a mistake.
If players successfully persuade him, the ritual won’t happen and all the spawns will be saved alongside Astarion.
Astarion will also join the party (not with his enhanced buffs) and will further help you in the game.
