Become Illithid or Make Orpheus Become A Mind Flayer

Elder Brain is one of the main antagonists players will be facing throughout the game. Elder Brain controls every Mind Flayer and Tadpole that players have and will encounter throughout the game. To destroy mind Flayer and defeat Elder Brain, players need to make this choice:

  1. Become Illithid themself
  2. Make Orpheus Become A Mind Flayer

If players decided to become the Illithid themself, Orpheus will be impressed and decided to vow that he will make sure that the players will be remembered throughout the Githyanki history as the ones who made the sacrifice to save the world. After this choice is made and finally defeat the Elder brain players will be able to become the leader of the Absolute.

If players decided to Make Orpheus Become A Mind Flayer, he will make the ultimate sacrifice to save the world and his people from the crisis. But due to this, he will bind to the Mind Flayer and can only be assisting players and their party through the main story. If players decide to kill Elder Brain, Orpheus will ask players to kill him. Even if the player decides not to kill him, Orpheus will take his own life shortly after that decision.

It is an obvious choice that, players should become the Illithid and have Orpheus finally be free from everything.
