You will encounter The Bazaar gear chest while completing the main story quest called Gilded Butterflies. The only way you will encounter this quest is somewhere towards the end of the game. If you complete it, you can unlock the door leading to the chest automatically. To find the chest, make your way to the north-east corner of The Bazaar in Karkh. There is a building that would be locked earlier, but is open now after completing the above quest. Make your way upstairs and unlock the Bazaar chest to get the Abbasid Knight Dagger / Upgrade Schematic. You will know this room if you were sent to assassinate Ning.
