Guide to find Tadpole in Black Myth Wukong
In Black Myth Wukong, Tadpole is a rare crafting material for upgrading spirits. These Tadpoles are particularly difficult to find, as they can only be acquired by defeating specific Frog Yaoguai Chief bosses scattered throughout the game. Here’s a guide on where to find these bosses.
Baw-Li-Guh-Lang (Chapter 1)
From the Snake Trail shrine, head up the stairs and cross the bridge. Once the players reach the other side, they need to jump down and follow the river to the left. Players then need to keep walking until they come across a large pond. Here, they will encounter the frog boss waiting for battle. Players need to be prepared for a tough fight, as this boss guards valuable loot, including potential Tadpoles for crafting spirits like the Baw-Li-Guh-Lang in Black Myth Wukong.
Lang-Li-Guhh-Baw (Chapter 2)
From the Village Entrance shrine, jump off the bridge and follow the ravine into the cave on the right. As the players enter the cave, they will eventually reach the opposite side. Here, descend the wooden staircase that leads down to a pond where the frog boss awaits. Players must be prepared for a challenging battle in this hidden area as they face off against the boss to secure valuable resources.
Lang-Li-Guhh-Lang (Chapter 3)
From the Forest of Felicity shrine, head back up the path towards the giant snow hill, keeping the mountain on the right. As the players approach the hill, look for a small cave opening in the side of the mountain. Enter the cave, and it will lead the players to a pond where the frog boss is located. Be ready for the encounter, as this boss holds valuable rewards for their journey in Black Myth Wukong.
Baw-Li-Guhh-Baw (Chapter 4)
From the Lower Hollow shrine, follow the familiar route through the nearby crack in the cave wall that leads to the Meditation location. After completing the meditation, continue along the path through the crack. Players will encounter a flying enemy. After dealing with it, players need to move forward into a large pond room where the frog boss is waiting for battle. Be prepared, as this challenging encounter is crucial for obtaining valuable rewards in Black Myth Wukong.
Baw-Lang-Lang (Chapter 5)
This frog boss can only be encountered after unlocking the secret area in Chapter 5, and then returning to the spot the players originally teleported from. Starting from the Cooling Slope shrine, head up to the cave located behind the icy mirror. As the players enter the cave, look to the left side, where the frog boss will be lurking in the shadows. Be prepared for a tough battle, as this encounter in Black Myth Wukong, offers valuable loot once defeated.
Lang-Baw-Baw (Chapter 6)
From the Rhino Watch Slope shrine, jump onto the Somersault Cloud and glide off the cliff. Keep the cliff to the right while moving forward. Soon, the players will spot a large patch of sand surrounded by rocks along the wall. The frog boss will be waiting to ambush the players from one of these large rock formations. Stay alert, as the encounter is tricky and requires quick reactions in Black Myth Wukong.
Players will receive the Clamor of Frogs Trophy after collecting all the sic Tadpoles. The trophy will be shown in the Achievements in Black Myth Wukong.
