In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you can now break hidden Shrine seals to unleash certain legendary Pokémon, but before that, you need to find 8 Stakes of each color type to break 4 different Shrines. You have the Purple Stake, the Blue Stake, the Yellow Stake, and the Green Stake, and finding 8 stakes of each color will open up the respective colored Shrine. Aratzon (West) Purple Stake Location in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
From the Pokémon Center here, head south, up the hills. On the edge of the cliff is a Purple Stake, overlooking the Pokémon Center.
East Province (Area One) Purple Stake Location in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
There is a watchtower southwest of East Province, on top of the hills here you can find a Purple Stake.
South Province (Area Three) Purple Stake Location in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Head directly west from the Pokémon Center in South Province. There is a hill directly overlooking the Center, where you can find a Purple Stake on top.
Mesagoza (East) Purple Stake Location in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
From Mesagoza Pokémon Center, head southeast across the river. On the edge of the cliff overlooking the river, beside the large castle, is a Purple Stake
Los Platos (East) Purple Stake Location in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Reach the Pokémon Center in Los Platos, then head southwest. Climb up the mountains here till you reach a cliff overlooking the Pokémon Center, you should find a Purple Stake here beside the top of the waterfall.

There is another Stake on the opposite side of the Pokémon Center from where you got the previous Purple Stake. From Los Platos, head Northeast through the mountain ranges. You can find a Purple Stake here.
South Province (Area Five) Purple Stake Location in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
From the South Province Pokémon Center, head southwest towards the circular mountain. On top, you can find a Purple Stake
South Province (Area One) Purple Stake Location in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Head southeast toward the ocean, there is a hill here that you have to climb to reach a Purple Stake.
Once you pull out all eight stakes from the ground, you will hear an ominous cry. To find the shrine, jump down from the cliff from where you pulled out the 8th stake, the Purple Shrine is directly below. This is the home of the legendary Wo-Chien Pokémon. You should save your game before you try to unlock the Shrine and fight Wo-Chien.
