There are four popular game modes to explore as you play Madden 25, and they are listed as follows
Ultimate Team
Veteran players would be familiar with this feature, and it further has 3 different modes within it. You got the Weekend Gauntlet, the 6-on-6, and Solo Seasons. Weekend Gauntlet is a new one, where you need to win 10 matches to win rewards. If you lose twice, you lose the entire season, and each match is paced at 5 minute quarters. 6-on-6, on the other hand, lets you form a team of the best 6 players and be up against other teams. This event will be small scaled, making it easier to analyze the playing field.
As for Solo Seasons, it is similar to what was introduced in College Football 25. The only change you get here is that you will be up against AI opponents for the entire season, which helps in playing the game offline. This is a casual game mode for players who just want to experience the game
Franchise
The all too familiar Franchise mode lets you take on a new storyline and manage a new team. You have the usual tasks of scouting, drafting, and signing up players to create your ideal dream team. This time, the plot will also include a dynamic storyline of the players, and new objectives to get through. It will be tougher this time around, but you have to win and see to the end of the seasons to complete this mode
Superstar
In this mode, you can create or import your ideal player to help you throughout the seasons. Climb up the ranks to reach Legendary status and endure the tough process of the pre-draft Combine. Work your way through and give it your best to stand a chance of getting scouted into the NFL. You have to note that this mode is only available for current gen consoles
Online Head to Head (H2H)
This multiplayer feature will have you try and beat the best players in the game. For each team you surpass, you have a chance to climb up the leaderboard. There are new features added for the home team, such as deciding the day, time, and weather of the match. Plus, the rewards in H2H are well worth the grind, so you have a chance to tackle your opponents and emerge victorious.
