To unlock the Diamond Sword, you need to complete the Fire in the Sky main story quest. This is the 34th quest in the storyline. Along the way, you will meet the White Dragon, and defeating it will unlock the Diamond Sword. After that, visit Goetz’s Toll to purchase the Diamond Sword for 3,500 Gil. Goetz is located at the Crystalline Dominion.
The Diamond Sword can also be crafted at the Big Hammer after unlocking the blueprint, but you will need the following materials
- Bloody Hide x90
- Imperial Link x1
- Whitewyrm Bone x1
You can get most of the above materials by hunting down enemies, especially notorious marks. After getting the Diamond Sword, you can further enhance it to several levels to strengthen it.
