Battle Pass System in Warzone 2
There will be more choices and agency in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 1 in the new Battle Pass. Activision has replaced the linear tiers with a new multi-sector map in place of the linear stream. Tokens earned through the interactive map will unlock items based on the current season across the map.
Unlike the old Battle Pass system, the Battle Pass map will have at least 20 Sectors, each with five items. This new system allows players to select which items they would like at any given moment rather than waiting until a certain Tier to unlock them.
Hence, no matter what item you want, you only have to level up five levels in the Battle Pass. If you used to reach 100 each season, your experience would mostly stay the same since it is not a big change from the original. It will, however, be a major improvement for players who need more time – they will have access to all the best items each season without spending too much time.
